LAST CALL: OUROUTE FINAL CONFERENCE

LAST CALL: OUROUTE FINAL CONFERENCE

ouRoute partners are organizing an international final conference with the aim of presenting the main outcomes of the project to relevant stakeholders. The final Conference of the ouRoute project, “Cultural Heritage as a discovery journey for students’ inclusion and motivation“, will take place on the 8th of June in an online format. (16h WET time) (17h CET time) (18h EET time)

This event will count with the participation of the students and the teachers from the schools that participated in the project’s activities. The event is targeted at schools and school communities (students, teachers, other educational staff, and school leaders), local communities (organisations from the cultural and creative sectors, youth associations), and policymakers (municipalities, local and national authorities linked to cultural heritage, education and social inclusion).

You will have the opportunity to discuss and learn how the school context can act as a privileged context for promoting active and open citizens with a critical perspective of their role as the new ambassadors of cultural heritage and social inclusion.

The ouRoute project aimed to promote common values, cultural heritage and social inclusion through education, using a constructivist approach. This 3-year project involved voyages of (re)discovery and “ethno-videographic” expeditions that put students from disadvantaged backgrounds at the centre. Don’t miss the opportunity to attend this event that will feature the participation of project partners from Portugal, Spain, Italy and Poland who will present the activities developed over 3 years and share their experiences, in a project that used new methodologies and practices to create educational resources about local heritage, combined with a set of activities carried out by, with and for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
