The Citizen-Cultural heritage week in Ceutí, Spain came to an end!

This Citizen-Cultural heritage week in Ceutí, Spain ran from March 31 to April 7 and was organized by IES Felipe de Borbón and attended by Portuguese students from the Agrupamento de Escolas André Soares.


         

 

This week included the participation of the Director of Culture of Ceutí Municipality, the Director of the High School, and the Mayor of Ceutí who welcomed all participants at the start of the week.

The cultural week featured various activities related to the history of the city, popular traditions, visits to museums, craft workshops, gastronomy, and traditional dances.

The students had the opportunity to do workshops on organic bread-making, how silk is made, the manufacture of recycled paper, traditional soaps, and leather crafts, among others. Museum visits were also made for students to learn more about the city’s history, as well as the exhibition of traditional food and traditional dance workshops.

The next week will occur at the end of April, in Palermo, Italy with the presence of the students from IES Felipe de Borbón (Spain).
