ouRoute research mode: “ON”

ouRoute research mode: “ON”

ouRoute has reached its first year of its implementation, and the work that has been laid on the background has been intense! Since January 2019, partners worked together to prepare the ground and the resources that enable the training of students to conduct research in their local landscapes, with the aim to unveil the secrets of their intangible cultural heritage:

“Old and new arts and crafts,”

is the focus of the research that is currently being conducted, and with ethnographic methods the student-researchers are collecting information through structured activities (interviews, focus groups, study visits). This study of the students, will then be transcribed by digital means into a series of videos that communicate in a very efficient way the results, and such, the intangible cultural heritage will come alive!

Moreover, the same students that will dive into conducting the videoethnographic research, will then train their peer students on the “how to”, and thus a new generation of student´-researchers will be born, and a sustainable training motivo established!
